some news on the aunt front
My aunt Adrianne has pulmonary embolisms in both of her lungs. She went into the emergency room last night and they put her on Heparin and kept her under observation overnight. She's got a room now at Mercy Southwest, and she's doing a little better, but they're still watching her. She just needs rest, relaxation, and blood thinners.
For those who don't know, pulmonary embolisms are blood clots. If they aren't spotted immediately, the result is usually death while you sleep. This happened to my mom's friend from work, who was only like... I think she was 23 years old.
In other kinda bad news, Jim had been throwing up all morning and he was so dizzy he couldn't walk without puking, so my mom took him to the emergency room. Turns out he's got an inner ear infection that's causing some major vertigo, and that's why he's throwing up all over the place. Poor guy. Poor Aunt Adrianne.
If you guys are religious, pray for both of them. If not, keep them in your thoughts.
