Aaaaaand more Kovu
This is what I usually do when I complete a page, just felt like typing it out this time. Being critical about this stuff is the way that I make sure to fix it the next time, and I was having a couple off weeks working on this one, I guess? The total time for each sketch is way down though, it only takes me about twenty minutes to complete one now, instead of like...45min to an hour.
A couple of this page are pretty good, a couple fail really badly. The bottom right (which was the last on I finished on the page) is starting to look more on model, as I suddenly realized that his muzzle doesn't do the same thing that Simba's and Mufasa's do. I had avoided that shape before because I thought it would look awkward, turns out that's not the case. Most of the ones on this page, his nose is too long, and I think I've still got its actual shape off, too. The big swoop of his mane isn't right in any of these (though top right doesn't look tooooo awkward, the rest of his mane doesn't quite work either), though I've got an idea now, I think, of how I want to do it so it'll both look right and be consistent.
