Wow.
I just found out something that made my life so much better. Yoshiki, former drummer of X Japan and accomplished producer, is attending Otakon for a panel and signing. He is seriously one of my personal heroes. Not only did he write all the amazing music of X Japan, he produced Dir en grey and several other bands I love. That means I'll get to meet this guy. He speaks English, too. So it won't be really weird like it was with the other musicians I have met. This upcoming Otakon is just going to be amazing. As soon as I get the funds for it...
