I think I want to quit playing in bands for a while. You know, to gather ideas of what I really want both in life and musically.

You see, a very important thing, musically and personally, was taken from me on December 17, 2005. My band.

My band of five years.

It was like ending a five year relationship with the girlfriend that has always been there and never did you wrong.

I'm still so lost and confused.

I just don't know how to tell my new band.

You see, the way I figure it is music is supposed to be fun. I had begun playing music in seventh grade on a rinky dink electric guitar.

By the time I had been offered to join my first band, I was determined to just play and have fun.

It was exactly that. Fun.

No bullshit ideas. No false impressions of what we were. Just pure, raw emotion.

By the time I had been offered to join Fuzz Munky in late 2001, I was ready to actually take my music a little more seriously.

But always....no matter what....have fun.

During my time in Fuzz Munky, I was fortunate enough to meet three other young men that would change my life forever and countless others along the way.

Touring, playing, recording, sex, drugs, getting lost, drinking all night, the mardi gras parties, matt's house, phil's house, mrs. sheila's lasagna, and everything else really helped shape who I am today.

Now it's gone.

Though I still have a member from my old band with me today. It's not the same.

It never will be.

I officially am on musical vacation until further notice.

Thanks for the memories everyone. If I decide to never play in another band again, just know.........you all were my life for 5 years.

Thank you all.
Thank you all so much.

I love each and every one of you.
