Well, I've been working my new job for three days now, and I'm really enjoying it. I do something convoluted and strange with websites, in Ruby on Rails. I'm enjoying learning RoR, it's nifty.
I got myself a 4GB USB memory stick today for $50. Woot!
Last night, my downstairs neighbor threw a stag party for his older brother who is getting married. It was an all-night word-of-mouth surprise jungle rave. It was a pretty awesome party; I could see many people were really enjoying themselves. I had a good time, despite being savagely cock-blocked all night long.
My bonsai garden is mostly happy. I think my patio may be slightly too harsh for the little trees, so some form of shelter may be in order. I brought home a cutting of Amelanchier laevia, better known as Allegheny serviceberry or 'saskatoon' berry, and today I put some rooting compound on it and stuck it in some soil. Perhaps I'll be able to start a new berry tree, or perhaps have berry bonsai.
