Okay so its been quite a while since I updated.
I'll just skip all that and write about yesterday!
Yesterday Morgan and I went out to eat and to a movie! We haven't done something like that in a while and it was really nice! She says she is going to take off for the openning night of Transformers 2, June 24, and I really hope she does. It will be fun.
Last night we saw Night at the Museum 2. It was a really cute movie. I do suggest that you see it! I'm getting ahead of myself though I should probably start at the beginning.
Around 3 or so Morgan called me, or did I call her? Hmmm dont remember. Anywho, she was in A.C. Moore. One of our favorite stores. I really wanted to go too so we decided to go back after I got off work. Well we still needed to do dinner since we are both trying to get better and eat at home to save money. She was going to go by the grocery store and then cook but I remembered she had gift cards to one of our favorite places to eat. Longhorn. hehe (sidenote: Its one of her fave places to eat but she has got me hooked.) Okay so yeah where was I. Longhorn right. So we decided to go there for dinner and then A.C. Moore and maybe Michaels and then Kroger on the way home. The A.C. Moore here is flaky and trying to save money so they close really early (even though they are IN A MALL!!).
Blah blah blah, debating, and 10 mins later we had a plan.
Dinner (as to miss the crowd), Best Buy (to get a few Cd's) then the 8:10 show.
We didnt get to the craft store, we will soon. Of that I have no doubt hehe.
So yeah, we hit the food joint and it wasnt that bad. Then again it wasnt that great. You know i have started to notice that the places we go to every now and again for good food out, a treat per say, are not so good anymore. There is always something left to be desired. Just like Outback for my birthday or bad service at some places we now dont return too. It left me a bit disappointed in Longhorn. They are always so good. Oh well. I guess its just a sign of the times. The good news, it was free! lol
Then on to Best Buy. We (by we I mean Morgan and I just tagged along hehe) picked up the new Britteny Spears cd Circus and a Live Motley Crew cd. -insert random Dr. Feelgood music and dance number-
Okay I feel better now! hehe (Yay Bones!) Okay back on track Kelly... So yeah I met Morgan's fave manager Kisha. I thought she was someone else for the longest time so I never paid her any mind but now I know she nice and cool! hehe
The love interest of Morgan's wasn't there. The boy just needs to ask her out already. Hell she likes him back. But its cute, hehe.
So off we went to the movie and all I have to say is wow.
Okay so either the kid at the front door doing tickets was dumb or bored. I couldnt tell. We got the the theater at about 8 o'clock. There was a 7:40 showing of our movie and an 8:10 one. Morgan tells him what we want to see and he's all like, 'For the 7:40 showing right?' Keep in mind the tickets are printing as he is asking this! Morgan says no, the 8:10 showing.
He then tells us to ignore the number on the ticket and go to #11 instead. Grr. So yeah we go and see the movie. Great movie! hehe
On the way out we are talking about parts we like and I noticed something.
When I used to go to the movies (a few years ago) there were people.
I mean we walked out into the parking lot and there was no one else out there. It used to be you couldnt get through all the people leaving and the ones standing around waiting to buy a ticket or for there movie to be seating. No, last night it was dead. They only had 2 people working that I could see. Its sad. Hopefully we'll get to go see Transformers 2 on the night it opens and there will be a bigger turn out. Cus last night was kind of depressing.
Oh well, I better go before the boss shows up.
