Hello from Green Land
No--not the country.
I haven't posted much at all since I moved here. That's because things are really good and I don't want to jinx them!
I moved into my "real" apartment this weekend--before that I had been in corporate housing. I really like it--just the right size, though a bit more sunshine and cell signal would be nice. Maybe Santa can bring those this year. And a metabolism.
Work is really good--I have a great boss. My team is pretty weak though, though I knew that coming down here. Its weird having to remind yourself each morning that its ok to get up--you don't hate your job!
I've made a couple good friends in my short time here. It's cool to just hang and watch a movie or play Yatzee. It's also nice to have tourguides and someone to help me not get lost on these freakishly strange roads. Everyone is very friendly--I'm used to gas station attendants being behind glass, not interacting and telling me to have a nice day. It's refreshingly odd.
Got my airfare to go home for Xmas--Dec 23rd thru the 28th. Then my sis and Kristin will be driving the Uhaul down with my stuff and hang out over New Years. Yay!
