Great past couple of days.
Wednesday, woke up to pack everything...we were all supposed to meet at Jeannine's and leave by 12:30. Well, I got there right at 12:30, thinking like everyone else was gonna be waiting for me. Turns out no one else was there yet. We were waiting for Nick, Jason, and his roomie Brad, they were all coming together...well, they didn't get there till 1. So they get there and Jason's like shit, I have to go back home cuz I forgot my ski passes. So there goes another hour. Then we go to Marketview Liquor, Josh is in there for like a half hour trying to decide what to get while the rest of us were waiting out in Jason's car. Josh finally comes back out and we're all just like WOO HOO LET'S GO!!! Nothin. Tries to start it again...nothin. So Jeannine calls her dad, he comes down and takes a look at it, and tells us to bring it back to his place, so he jumps it and we go to Jeannine's parents house. After some tests, he says it's a bad battery...but luckily he had an extra battery, so he put the new one in and we were all set finally. The battery was worth 100, but Jeannine's dad said to just give him 60, but Jason insisted on giving him 100 for it.
So we were off finally...we're about 20 min or so on the road, and we get a call from Justine saying her car broke down. I'm like shit, something is seriously trying to prevent us from going on this trip! But all was good. Guys wanted to watch the USC game, most of them were goin for Texas, and were very happy when they won. I was tired as hell, and kind of a party pooper friday night...everyone got drunk, and I just laid there on the couch. I was kept up by all the guys singing...it was actually quite hilarious though.
Thursday we finally got to skiing, except when Jason went through all the stuff he brought, he didn't have any skis that fit. My ski boots that he let me borrow didn't fit either but I wore those anyways. He had ski blades or whatever they're called, so I used those. Then Jeannine hurt her elbow, and my legs were killing me from the boots so we stopped for the day. Everyone else came back later and we watched the Wedding Crashers. The guys went and got some pizza while Jason stuck with us girls while we talked about the menstrual cycle and such. Lol. Then Justine left and the guys got ready to go back out. Me, Jeannine, Josh and Brad stayed and set up beer pong. It was me and Brad, team name "Oh shit, it went down the stairs," vs Jeannine and Josh. We beat them 3-1, then the others came back and Nick and Grant wanted to play, so my team played them and we beat them 2-1, then we played Jeannine and Josh again and they beat us the last game of the night. I was pretty drunk, had 5 total Smirnoffs...Brad was COMPLETELY gone, he didn't really remember anything from the night this morning. I woke up this morning sore as a mother...I'm still pretty sore, my calves especially, and my arms, shoulders, and back.
I had fun though...I wish I coulda had more time with the ski blades because I was getting a lot better, but my legs just hurt so much. They still do. Damn, I can barely walk. Oh well, it was worth it :)
Tonight I'm going to see Hostel with Jeannine and her parents. I think Nick and Jason MAY be coming out to see a different movie with Josh cuz they're wusses, lol...but idk if we're hanging out afterwards, but hopefully having fun tonight.
