Can someone say nerd?
So we had our second home game of the season against WVU. The game got pretty intense at times, but their running offense just crapped all over our defense, so it was pretty clear we were gonna lose from the beginning. The real competition for us of course was against the 375 member WVU marching band. Being only 260 large, we worked really hard all week to make sure our show was top notch. And after seeing the videos of the halftime shows, I'd have to say we destroyed them.
The only thing that sucked of course was that it was about 95 degrees outside and we have to stand for the whole game. So standing for 4 hours in the direct sun playing every other minute with playing 2 shows left me completely exhausted. Luckily it was band parents day, so after the game my family and I went back to my dorm and had a cookout outside. My dad grilled some sweet ribs and so I had the best dinner I've had in about a month.
After that Logan and I just chilled in the dorm and I fell asleep around 7pm. Then I woke up at 2 pm today, so I got about 19 hours of sleep which was totally awesome.
