Selwyn College Cambridge
I went up to Cambridge yesterday to see my new college, drop off some forms and pick up my books and Selwyn clothes :DD
(for those who don't understand the british university system - cambridge university is split into 20 or however many colleges, and you apply to a specific one for a specific subject - i applied to selwyn college to read japanese)
Selwyn College is kinda beautiful, if not as old or impressive as Trinity or Kings:
In my second and fourth year I'll probably get to live in this part of the college :DD (in the first year, I have to live in this kinda ugly '60s job, ugh)
^----- This is the chapel. Not that I'm particularly holy or anything, but it's huge. And pretty <33
Then in the town we went to buy my first year textbooks and my formal robes. Because at Cambridge, if you want to eat in formal hall, you have to wear dress robes. Behold:
It is THE most impractical thing to wear while eating. And I look like Snape in it.
And my official Selwyn scarf:
Yes. It is true. I am actually going to Hogwarts.
