(no subject)
FINALLY all my recent stress is over. A quick top-up of my life, as follows:
.x. Got my Mock Results back: General Studies: 87% A (and apparently I came way the top, which is hilarious, since I didn't go to any classes XD ), Maths: 80% B/A (my Stats mark dragged my total down - I suck at Stats T^T at least I did better than Ness, who got 1% >.< ), English: 83% (B/)A (<---- but this isn't factoring in coursework), Japanese: 93% A, History: 84% A (I did better on my British paper than my European, which makes sense because British history is way more fun and way easier), Latin: 90% A
So all in all that was fine ^^ Mostly As, some marks that were sort of borderline between As and Bs. But given that I only had a week's revision, I thought that was pretty good.
.x. Had the next round of Public Speaking on Saturday. Had to drive into Sussex for it, but it went ok. We didn't get through to the next round - we were beaten by the two schools we beat last time, Charterhouse and Guildford County. It was quite strange really. People won awards even when they were crap, and from the distribution of prizes it was clearly rigged in some way, but at least I don't have to do it again. I'll be sorry that me and Kirsty can't bate the Charterhouse boys any more though XD that was always fun.
.x. Went to _windigo_'s last night ^^ Had one of those evenings where I'm reminded exactly why she's my bestest mate and why I love her so fucking much. We basically spent about 4 hours discussing the follies of our year group, then watched In and Out the BEST MOVIE zomg XDXD it has no coherent plot and makes no sense but is just so stupid. And hilarious. "Adjust yourself! Not there! The package, sissy man. The family jewels." XDXD~! Then watched some L Word.
.x. I need to get my Kimmius to buy Queer As Folk for me... I'm thinking I'll get the British version rather than the American, but I was wondering if anyone's seen both, which do you think is better?
.x. And you've probably all seen this, but BROKEBACK BUNNIES. The scariest thing is, they actually have the same facial expressions. Particularly Jake Gyllenhaal...

.x. How is it life is always so busy? I seem to have reached a point where there is always something to do. Like right now, I should be copying up notes from a history lecture I attended in London on Thursday. I seem to have reached a stage in my educational life where there is just constant work.
Maybe that's just what life is.
Bah.
