Today I gave up German and took Maths Statistics. I wanted to take Maths Mechanics, but the timetabling was shot. This now means that I have 7 frees tomorrow!! ^^ Plenty of time to watch Lost XD Although Kim still has my DVDs... Waa~~~~ >.< The Speedy Kim skived today, I was offended. But me and Lana and Joyce are going to see Howl's Moving Castle in Kingston tomorrow evening, yay!! It's meant to be good, so I'm looking forward to seeing it. Just, does anyone know, is the dubbing like really American? Because it's really annoying when the voice actors have really strong accents...
History today was fun ^^ Mrs B described Mussolini as 'sexy', which was quite hysterical. She's great. I like her. I wrote her this note, when I forgot my homework, that said "Dear Mrs Bartlett, I have done my history essay but unfortunately have been outwitted by my own system - ie, I left it in my other file. Sorry and all that, Hattie." She found it funny and let me off XD so that was cool.
Lloyd just rang me and told me about his shitty day today - apparently he stopped some Asian guy mugging some girl and then beat him up rather... He seems a bit violent, although I guess he is a guy and he lives in Luton, so go fig. Why are all men so bleedin' violent? =_=;;
Anyways... Yeah, now I have a load of useless German notes and I threw all my maths notes away, clever move. But I think taking maths is the right choice... I got 92% in my German GCSE and 100% in my maths GCSE, it makes sense... I just never thought I was very good at maths. Apparently that is not so. And this way, I have a more balanced set of AS-levels: Latin, Japanese, English (languages), History (humanities) and Maths (sciences), and also hopefully I can take up another Asian language, just to do at like an hour a week and maybe a GCSE in a couple of years or something. I'm looking at doing Korean, but it might be easier to take Mandarin or Cantonese as I think the school has tutors for those subjects... Hmmm... I'll think about it ^_^
I hope I've done the right thing in transferring... ::is still worrying::
The sad thing is, one of my most used phrases until today was "Haha! ^^ I never have to take maths again!"
Famous last words...
