It’s never easy to calm the lot of Kansai men down when August 8th comes. Even early in the morning they’re all hyped up -most of them at least. As usual, there are two guys that might even snap at you if you disturb them, one over-reacting on how early it is for being so loud and the other grunting and cursing.
So it’s a good thing that said men are together away on vacation; the rest of the bunch will celebrate loudly and satisfyingly upbeat enough even without them. Ohkura Tadayoshi has grabbed the chance of Nishikido Ryo touring with NEWS and follows him, enjoying the trip together to his heart‘s content. Much as Ryo has tried to scare the idea out of his head, Ohkura is still much of a baby to just sit and listen in any way and follows him around in every place they go that has a beach near the hotel he stays. Because, for his time to be spent together with the lovable fool, Ryo has been booking suits in the hotels he’s staying with NEWS and swears them to secrecy; using the plain and fail excuse of composing a new song to justify this, but something tells him the experienced eyes and minds of at least Pi and Tegoshi are so totally not fooled.
He makes no comment on this to them though; keeps all his grunting to rant at and bully Ohkura that seems a little too happy and enjoying the situation, given that he’s in hiding, actually, but nothing seems like it could make the younger male unhappy.
He just takes everything in and waits until Ryo is done, and then just closes him in his large arms, resting his head on his shoulder and murmuring, as sluggishly as ever, that he doesn’t mind, because it’s far long since they had a vacation together, and all that he really cares about is being with Ryo-chan and it doesn’t matter if he bitches about it because, Ohkura knows, it’s just Ryo-chan. Normal stuff. He couldn’t go on if Ryo didn’t bitch one day, he says. And somehow, just having the drummer all clingy and bored and sweet-talking him, is enough to calm Ryo’s tensed nerves.
