Finally
I've been on a search lately. A search for what, you ask? A search for good anime. A really good anime, that makes me laugh, makes me aw, makes me WTH?!, and yes, even might make me squick a little.
What we watch in AC passes the time, but it has yet to suffice or meet the expectations of such a demanding viewer as myself. Even the DMC anime did not succeed, as passingly good as it was.
Today, today, ladies and gentlemen, otaku big and small, I have found it.
The Wallflower. Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge. Perfect Girl Evolution.
Why is it perfect? Well, I would suggest digging up the first episode and watching it. Bishounen, right, that's always good, right? Yes, sure, and even better when they're an obvious spoof of their archetype. And I can very much relate to Sunako-chan. It's perfect, I tell you, perfect. It made me laugh almost as much and as hard as FMPF did when I watched it, which is quite a feat. I am totally going to find this for download and show it to the club, it's just perfect.
Also, Shutterbox Vol. 4 in my hands over the weekend (unending joy, especially the last few pages and the flashbacks) and the February issue of Newtype - DMC on the cover FTW! Cue obsessive fangirling, sorry. I'd try to get over it, but it's too enjoyable to have an obsession again.
However....my computer skips when it plays DVDs. I thought it was just an incompatibly with my Advent Children disk, but alas....it wilt not play mine Newtype promotional disk neither.
Oh, and a haircut. That's always good.
