Mysterious Play

Name: (real name if possible) Olivia
Nicknames: Livi, Ollie, Liv (pronounced sorta like 'leave')
Age: 18
Gender: Female

Likes: Where to start...hmm...trying new things, blue, swimming, rowing, the smell of rain (or just after it rains), the beach, music, reading, peaches, the sunset, hanging out with friends, just chilling by myself outside in the early early morning, roller coasters, going to concerts, UCLA!, traveling, indian food, Literature class, trying new and unusual foods, anything that tastes sweet and delightful, spring, water, hugs, my friends, being able to lend a shoulder to cry on, being spontaneous sometimes, doing things I never imagined I'd ever do (like jumping off a 30ft into the lake below) only to find out that I really enjoyed it, having fun, laughing, smiling, watching the sun rise over the ocean, sitting on the beach with my feet buried in the sand, babysitting, watching the ocean and find where the rips tides are, ...I can just go on and on....

Dislikes: People who pressure their friends into doings things they don't want to, pork chops, very very large dogs, losing my glasses and not being to find them for days, people who try to make themselves feel better by hurting others, calculus (math is just not my thing...), someone who would spread nasty rumors about their friend in order to look cool, seing someone in pain and knowing that there's nothing I can do to help them, confusion, cleaning my room and doing a great and thorough job for the first half and then just losing focus or interest and rushing through the second half, having to be stuck in a same old boring routine for any length of time.

Hobbies: Rowing! I've been rowing for four years now, and it's become a huge part of me. There's just something about the soft clicking noise the oars make with every stroke and the smooth motion of the oar blades cutting through and then gliding on top of the water that clears my mind. I lalso ove drawing and started creating custom shoes for friends of mine by drawing on plain white vans slip-ons. My passion is writing and creating stories, characters and new worlds, and my dream for the future is to become a fiction novelist!!! I also love reading, swimming, hiking (nothing too extreme), and listening to music.

Talents: I can always finding something to do or someway to occupy myself. I don't like to be bored, so I've always had quite an illustrious imagination. I'm also pretty good at cooking new and rather unusual dishes that actually taste really good, probably because I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen so much! I'm also a great listener and can make someone laugh and smile when they're feeling down. I also have the not so flattering talent of being rather clumsy and awkward whenever I'm anxious or nervous, as well as rambling on and on without really realizing it or even what I'm saying whenever I'm nervous and I'm tryin

Strong Points: Again, I'm a great listener. I'm also dedicated and I make my own decisions and stick to them no matter what other people might say, like my decision to stay away from cigarettes/drugs and getting drunk. I don't judge people by what they wear or how they compare to some shallow "status quo" or stereotype, but I instead try to get to know them as the true person that they are. I'm also good at not stressing out about things that aren't worth stressing over. I'm smart, and I love challenging myself at school, but I'm not one to obsess over grades or studying as long as I know that I'm giving my best effort. I love trying new things, and I have a child-like curiosity that always has me questioning things and makes my really enthusiastic towards finding out more about the world around me. I know not to take myself too seriously and have fun in life while not worrying too much over 'what ifs' and other hypothetical questions about the future, but at the same time I know when a situation requires me to be genuinely serious and attentive.

Weak Points: I tend to be unreasonably self-conscious at times, which also sometimes makes me unfomfortable when meeting new people and also lowers my confidence, especially when it comes to my crushes. I also tend to bottle things up inside of me instead of talking about them with someone else, even though I'm a good at being the one people feel comfortable confiding in. In the same way, even though I'm always more than happy to lend a shoulder to cry on to a friend in need, I tend to not lean to cry on my friend's shoulders, even when they offer, because I feel like I don't want to burden them with my insignificant problems. Also, I'm a good student and I'm smart, but I also tend to leave things off to the very last moment.

Favorite Color: Blue!

Optimistic or Pessimistic: I'm quite the optimistic person. I find that I can make it through any situation, no matter how dark or difficult, as long as can keep my head up, my eyes open, and my heart reminding me that for every tunnel there is always a light at the end!

Hyper or Calm or Normal Energy: I guess normal energy. I can be pretty layed back, but when I'm happpy and with close friends I tend to let go and become a little crazy. I've never cared what strangers think of me, so I find it easy to act free like a child at times and dance as I walk down the streets with my friends, since I know I'll never see these strangers again. It's only when it comes to boys that I like or am attracted too that I become more concious of how they may see me.

Impulsive or Think Things Through: I'm somewhere in the middle. I can be impulsive and usually just follow my gut instinct when it comes to things like having fun or trying new and exciting things. When it comes to making a serious decisions though, I'll think things through more.

Outgoing or Shy: I'm shy around people I'm meeting for the first time, but I open up and become socialble once I get to know them a bit more and they get to know me a bit more.

Mature or Immature?: People have always said that I'm rather mature for my age, and I am in most ways, but I'm also still like any other person in their late teens, in that I'm a wierd, quirky girl who can, at times, talk a mile a minute about absolutely nothing. XD And I'm proud of it!!!!!

Leader or Follower?: I didn't mind following, and I don't have any problem with it as long as I agree with and trust the person I'm following, but I can also take a more leadership role if needed, as I'm comfortable with taking on responsibilites and doing my best for others.

If you had the 3 wishes, what would they be?: (1) To be able to find a loving husband and raise a joyful family, (2) to always stay in touch with the friends who mean so much to me, no matter how far away we might be from one another, (3) that everyone would be able to look past things like skin color, clothing style, ethnicity, and religion and get to know each other as human beings without using stereotypical labels and assumptions.

Favorite Character? Why?: Chichiri (and not just because he's gorgeous ;D)! Out of all the characters, he was the one that I could most relate to because he was so...human, you know? He wasn't perfect and he never tried to be. He learned from the mistakes he made in the past and moved on through life using and building on his experiences and lessons learned to become a better person. He took what he was dealt and made the best of it. He's just the sort of person I would love to get know and would be forever grateful to have in my life, whether it be as a friend or as something more.

Anything else?: When I was 5 I told my mom I wanted to own a chocolate factory like Willy Wonka's when I grew up (only without the oompa loompas). I've had only one boyfriend, and have still never been kissed. I love traveling around the world, and I have so far been to China, Belize, Africa, France, and the Carribean, and I would love to go to Germany, India, Japan, Ireland, and Thailand someday. Lastly, during my last four years of rowing, I've gotten hypothermia 6 times (I am so not kidding....).
