I love writing english papers. I love that every sentence does not have to be logically derivable from every preceding sentence. While writing philosophy papers brings me a certain sense of accomplishment when done correctly, there's no comparing to the joy I elicit from writing sentences like:

"Hamlet’s own aesthetic criterion reinforces the infinite recession of the play's meta-drama: it reaches both into the abyss and out from it."
