Had my first run in with a less than pleasant customer.
She was impatient because I took a long time with the customer in front of her, but that person had a long of items, and one that wouldn't scan, so I needed to get a price check on it.
She gets up to the till and is like *sneer* "They should put a sign up on the trainee tills."
The nice older woman helping me points to the little badge on my unfiorm "Cashier in Training," and says, "It's right here." *smile*
Yes, because we should put signs up so people will deliberately avoid us. Great way to get a lot of training.
I tried to get her rung up as quickly as possible to prove her wrong.
When she left the woman helping me just kind of leaned over behind me and whispered, "bitch."

Even the woman in line behind her commented on how there was no need to be impatient and that I was doing a fine job. =D
