(no subject)
wow! so many updates in so few days... crazy.
last night i went into the city with two the of the greatest eastern girls i could ask for- tara and gwen. we went to a fringe perfromance and saw our professor perform, as well as some of his other company members. Overall the show was very good although parts i could have passed on. afterwards we went to this 'house party' in a cathedral. kinda crazy if you ask me, maybe sacreligious??? anyway, it was just all artsy fartsy people- dancers and theater type. it was neat though. We just sat around and talked for a while and then decided to make the treck home. those girls make me wish i wasnt graduating. but they are about the only thing.
for all of you who heard about the paperwork madness, everything has been settled. my thesis is approved, im graduating in december. hoorah! they did it without julie's signatures too- because she was never on campus to get her. hmmmmmm....
they limited the number of dances you can be in to 3 this year. that means i am in the one i am choreographing, amy marlow's (shes an amazing choreographer), and one from a class which should be really good. Somehow I got all the dancers i wanted, im very excited because they chose mine to be in over some others. I think i've ended up with 8 (maybe 7) dancers. The stage will be so full of my movement it may explode!
I am off to spend the day at the library. I cannot get any real work done in my apartment. My thesis introduction is due Monday morning at 9 am. It's only 5 pages but its evoking so much anxiety you'd think it was the full 80. I just have to keep reminding myself that this can be done- i's totally possible. eeegats.
