general thoughts
its been over a month since josh disappeared.
you see it on tv all the time...someone goes missing and never shows up. someone is murdered. its what Law & Order is all about. but you never EVER expect it to happen to you when you grew up in this little bubble of protection. everyone is supposed to be safe. people in your world only die of old age...sometimes a scary disease.
but your friends aren't supposed to be murdered.
and no matter how much time passes it never gets easier.
it doesn't help that everytime someone sees his missing poster at work they make a comment. it doesn't help that every 6 pack of guinness, every four leaf clover, every Ireland track jacket, every Boston Red Sox hat reminds me of him.
what did help was my friends, my very loving boyfriend, and football. the giants won the super bowl. josh was a dallas cowboys fan...but part of me thinks that somewhere in the great football thereafter he was rooting for the giants.
i just wish law enforcement...the detectives...whoever would try a little harder. we need closure. we need an end. i miss josh. i need to know for sure what happened to him.
