:DDDDD I am glad you liked it so much, because tbh this was partly written for you, since you were the one who introduced me to the pairing in the first place. Granted, the stuff you showed me as introduction to the pairing was reasonably happy, but it also didn't have any porn or even much directly related to the relationship at all, so clearly I needed to write something that did have porn, was almost entirely about the relationship, and wasn't happy at all. (The beginning's a little happy! But of course it does not stay that way.)

Actually, "Mukuro had a crush but never acted upon it" seems to be a popular trope in Mukuro/Naegi. So why not have one where she did? And why not write it while taking into account that her life is pretty awful and his life is about to be? I practically didn't have a choice, really.

Pretty much literally every bad thing in the game is Junko's fault, so, yes, this was an apertif of sorts. Start things off with a bang! A horrible bang that both participants deeply regret having done. Which is also how most of the murders go, really.
