I may not post a whole lot on here anymore, but I feel obligated to share a thing with you: Welcome to Night Vale, a podcast styled as the broadcast of a community radio show for a strange, fictional desert town. It can be difficult to describe, but the best way I've heard so far is "Twin Peaks meets Prairie Home Companion". It's funny, creepy, and makes me wish I could write like that. Also (and I swear I did not know about this until I started listening), bonus canonical gay interracial romance. I say "bonus" because that particular plot thread doesn't show up very often, but it's super-cute regardless. (And, of course, the one all the fanfiction has latched onto.) Do you like everyday eldritch horrors narrated by a soothing, friendly voice? It is entirely possible that you'll like Welcome to Night Vale.
