Oh so I have a Hobbit fic rec!
Shield Me is a bunch of sequential long-drabble-prompts that roughly retell everything that happens post-Eagles (i.e., the next two movies). It has led me to the conclusion that I actually prefer Thorin/Bilbo as preslash, or at least as a slow build that is then affected by however the author chooses to end the story. Which is done very well, in this case. The titles of the individual sections are a bit inaccurately cheesy, but the fic itself is excellent and babbies. Just. Babbies.
