Kotetsu T. Kaburagi and Rory Williams go shopping together - for what?
Gifts for their respective daughters' birthdays! Rory isn't really sure when River's birthday is, or how he would get the present to her, but damn it all, he's going to try. Just because he didn't raise her for most of her childhood doesn't mean he's not her dad. Kotetsu's gift suggestions are all terrible, but, in fairness, he doesn't really understand the situation. I mean, Rory's not that old, his kid's gotta be pretty young, right? So toys are totally appropriate! When Rory tries to explain why that wouldn't work, Kotetsu comes to the conclusion that, like Kaede, River is just growing up too fast, sniffle, how sad it is when you're out-of-touch with your kid. Rory doesn't have the heart to explain that it's not just that River isn't a kid any more, it's that River is actually older than him now. And this answer is getting sad so I'm going to move on to the next one.
You answer the door to find Donna Noble standing there. How do you react?
Pre-S4-finale: OH MY GOD CAN WE GO ON AN ADVENTURE CAN WE CAN WE CAN I SEE THE TARDIS CAN WE HANG OUT IN SPACE
Post-S4-finale: *endless sobbing*
Chell [Redacted] and Celty Sturluson are trapped in a lift together. What transpires?
On a visual level? Well, that depends. But by god, it will be silent as the grave.
(That being said, I imagine Chell would find it very comforting to hang out with a non-human who is not trying to kill her. That Celty does not expect her to talk is a bonus. I now imagine the three of them chilling with the Companion Cube, just being all quiet together.)
A terrible Takashi Natsume/Nice Holystone versus Duck/Nice Holystone 'shipwar has been waged for many years. What arguments do each side employ? Which side do you come down on?
Oh, goodness. I can only imagine that the primary argument for Natsume/Nice is that they can swap stories about overcoming miserable childhoods. Duck/Nice, well, clearly Duck is trying to teach Nice that not all problems need to be solved with weaponry, and Nice is trying to teach Duck that just because you look a bit different doesn't mean that you can't be in a relationship with someone who loves you. I inevitably come down on the side of everyone just being friends and helping each other with their problems.
How would Revy cope in the Aperture Science Enrichment Centre? Would having Kenzo Tenma as a test partner increase or decrease Revy's chances of survival?
Things That Revy Is Good At:
1) Shooting guns
2) Feats of physical agility
Things That Revy Is Not Good At:
1) Solving problems in a nonviolent manner
2) Obeying authority figures
So, basically, while she could have been a crack test subject, she instead jerry-rigs a turret and blasts her way out of the facility manually. Tenma might have been good at the puzzles but inevitably got stuck on the first turret level. Is it wrong to kill a machine that can talk? Yes, they might be trying to kill him, but there must be some good in them! They sound just like children! He has an intense, heartwrenching moral debate with himself for hours. Eventually GLaDOS just lets him go out of boredom.
(It is probably for the best that he and Revy did not spend much time as partners. The chance of him being a calming influence is significantly smaller than the chance of her deciding that there are already too many moralizing Japanese guys in her life and killing him on the spot.)
Himari Takakura and Agatha Heterodyne ask Katara for a threesome. How do they propose the idea, and how does Katara respond?
First off, clearly Himari and Agatha need to bond over how inconvenient it is to be occasionally possessed by a mysterious, powerful lady who is prone to flirting with their respective boys. This leads them to decide that they need to be best friends. And what do best friends do? Make more friends! Therefore they propose a threesome of friendship, specifically friendship between ladies, and Katara is totally down with that. Agatha and Katara then proceed to terrorize the countryside (but in a friendly way!) while Himari makes food and sings for them.
Come up with a great idea for a Wheatley/John Watson fic! Now make it into a terrible idea by changing one word.
...okay, see, the thing is? Crossovers between Sherlock and Portal are, in fact, already a thing. Like
this! And
this! But. But. IT GOES EVEN DEEPER. Because John is played by Martin Freeman.
Who was in The Office.
Which was co-created by Stephen Merchant.
Who voices Wheatley.
DID I JUST BLOW YOUR MIND
So, basically, you want a meeting between John and Wheatley?
IT HAS HAPPENED IN ACTUAL REAL LIFE
I honestly don't even know what to say about that. It's the moments like these that make being a crossover fan a truly ecstatic existence.
