It is very strange having only two days of school this week.

I would have feelings about A Scandal in Belgravia--many feelings, probably--but I am too busy having feelings about Tintin, which induces far fewer mixed emotions as long as you don't think about Tintin in the Congo and some of Herge's personal statements and make elaborate theories about how not all the books that take place outside Europe aren't as racist as everyone says, really they totally aren't.

Anyway, I am back at school now! The final two quarters of my senior year have begun. Oh dear. I got off to a thrilling start by realizing that I am the only person in Survey of Theater and Drama II who did not take Survey of Theater and Drama I the previous quarter with the exact same students and teacher. (I had the same teacher! But that was last year. I had my reasons for not doing the classes consecutively.) So everyone knows everyone except me, woo? And now I get to go to Directing with the knowledge that I purchased the wrong version of the play we're doing and couldn't find the textbook at all. Perhaps Intro to Psychology will be different. But more likely it will be full of bored freshmen who do not want to be there any more than I do. I did get the right textbook, though!

...also the water in our room turned one of my roommates' silver ring brown.

That. That could be a thing to be concerned about.

I am totally not measuring my before-class time by how many episodes of the Tintin cartoon I can watch

really, I'm not

art school is srs bzns, sherlock holmes, my life and welcome to it, tintin
