I use this icon a lot more than I thought I would when I made it. Mysterious.
Between yesterday and today I have received three holiday things! They are, in order:
1) a holiday card about talking dead fish that seemed rather strange until I realized the initials on the return address were those of a Clarion friend whose most memorable story was about that particular subject;
2) a holiday card that claimed to be from Dr. Doofenshmirtz but was in reality probably from rionaleonhart, despite its hilarious accuracy (it is entirely possible that Christmas card companies are evil, you never know);
and 3) a holiday card and absolutely lovely scarf from ozfroggirl, who probably did not know that acrylic wool is the only wool that does not make me itch but who seems to have lucked into that discovery anyway. My semi-professional-yarnworker mother approves of the colors.
Thank you all so much! It is lovely to receive things in the mail from the internet, it makes you people seem much more real and less like figures I have conjured from my imagination. Fortuitously enough, yesterday I started to send out the very nearly late holiday cards and should have all of them on their way by tomorrow. So hopefully those of you who wanted proof of my existence as a physical being should be getting them relatively soonish. Hurray!
