In my comics history class we have to do a PowerPoint about which person-involved-in-comics between 1900 and 1950 we would have been. Seeing as I am the only person in the class who is not actually planning to make comics for a living, this was proving slightly difficult. Eventually, after talking it over with the teacher, I decided on William Moulton Marston, creator of Wonder Woman. Probably the teacher thought I had picked him for the feminism thing.
I didn't have the heart to tell him it was more for the polyamory.
In my basically-just-watching-movies class, however, we have to do a term paper. What on, and how long, is pretty much entirely up to us, as long as it's related to film in some way and it's a subject we're genuinely interested in. Again, I was unsure of what to do, so again, I talked to the teacher about it. He asked me what I was interested in. I told him television, rather than movies. He asked what my favorite show was.
Which is how I ended up getting to do a term paper on the history of Doctor Who.
I rather like these two classes, I must say.
