It turns out that it is really hard to draw Toni as a dude without making him look totally, totally gay. (Also he used to have another arm but it was not working so it went away; this is the artist's power and I at least occasionally try to use it for good.) Lady!Ples: possibly just an excuse to draw pretty Victorian dresses, not gonna lie. But she would! I mean, not really, Victorian men's outfits draw much less attention in present day than Victorian ladies' outfits, and Ples probably would not want much attention in either gender, so. Pretty dresses. Just saying.
Casimiro's eye gave me ridiculous amounts of trouble, because I am not used to drawing eyes that have actual irises and whenever I try it looks weeeeird, but then suddenly it did not! I think I am actually learning quite a bit from doing these, it is the way of the artist to steal bits from other artists and blend it into their own stuff, and that is what I am doing. Tessa, I am taking your eyes. Hopefully you will never notice. Also, Casimiro and Finas make the best lesbians ever, I am not sure why this is but it is.

FUCK IF I KNOW WHY but maybe it has something to do with Conrad/Worth being the ship Tessa is most willing to tease at, I mean in that Q&A where someone asked the characters who they'd choose if they absolutely had to--I'm just saying.
