My roommate is only now waking up. Um.

TELEVISION MEME why not.

Name a TV show series in which you have seen every episode at least twice:
Baccano!, three times going on four, although I've only seen the last three episodes twice for some reason. Hm. Some day I shall remedy that. Also Firefly, Profit, all but the last four episodes of Princess Tutu and all but the last three episodes of Ouran High School Host Club. --plus I have seen most of Junjou Romantica like four times, I don't even know, stop looking at me like that. And I am working on Samurai Champloo! So yeah.

Name a (current) show you can't miss:
Doctor Who, definitely. Monster. I could say Supernatural but I actually have a terrible track record of that, even if I watch all the episodes eventually.

Name an actor that would make you more inclined to watch a show:
Really, any of the actors who play characters I like in shows that I like--the only reason I plan to check out David Tennant's new lawyer thing is that, well, it's David Tennant. This does not mean I will ever watch Law & Order UK. I love you, Freema, but. No.

Name an actor who would make you less likely to watch a show:
Thankfully, Jack Nicholson does not do television.

Name a show you can, and do, quote from:
I am not much of a quoting person! But, uh, I did say "bananas are good" today, so...

Name a show you like that no one else enjoys:
Strictly speaking I can't say this of Hetalia, as the main comm now has over twenty thousand members what the fuck, but the people who don't like it are so vocal and virulent about it that it almost counts. Seriously you guys it is just a danged webcomic and anime, it is not worth losing friendships over.

Name a TV show which you've been known to sing the theme song:
...if I have been known to break out into Marukaite Chikyuu, it is my own business. Even the "ano aji ga wasurerarenainda" part. I am hardcore.

Name a show you would recommend everyone to watch:
--have I mentioned, lately, this thing called Mo-- < /bricked>

Name a TV series you own:
Firefly, Profit, the HHGTTG miniseries, Buffy, Angel, Avatar, the first seasons of Heroes, Doctor Who, Six Feet Under, CSI, Smallville shut up it was on saleand House; the first three seasons of Supernatural; and Baccano! and Princess Tutu. I would own more Doctor Who if it wasn't ridiculously and prohibitively expensive.

What is your favourite episode of your favourite series?
I remain very fond of Partners in Crime, though I've actually only seen it once. But it counts!

A show you mean to watch, but you just haven't gotten around to yet:
...aside from all the shows I need to catch up on cough leverage psych dexter merlin house umineko bakemonogatari how i met your mother sarah jane adventures, someday I will probably watch Dead Like Me, and there are the endless Star Treks and Babylon 5 and Farscape and...yeahhhh.

Ever quit watching a show because it was so bad?
No, but I've quit watching a show because I realized I didn't care about it any more and honestly hadn't for a while. More than once.

Name a show you aren't interested in watching, not in the least:
Ummm. I guess any of the Law & Order or CSI stuff? (I only own the first season because my dad bought it. I think he also has some Law & Order, but I've never bothered to watch it.) It just never seemed interesting to me.

Name a show that's made you cry multiple times:
Doctor Who, Heroes, and Torchwood are the biggest offenders. Probably Buffy and Angel. Fullmetal Alchemist. I suspect if I rewatched episodes 22 and 23 of xxxHolic the tears would come back, but it wasn't as bad as Doctor Who, Heroes, and Torchwood, although admittedly it was sad in a more "aw, I feel really really sorry for him" way rather than an "oh god why would you do that why why whyyyyy" way.

Oldest TV show you like?
Original Star Trek is pretty old! But Doctor Who outdates it, and I like that more anyway.

Newest TV show you like?
Kuroshitsuji only finished its (first, Japanese)24-episode run last summer, even if the manga is a couple years older than that.

What do you eat when you watch TV?
If I am watching live TV, I usually do not eat anything, but if I am watching DVDs or online things I sometimes eat whatever is appropriate for the time of day (lunch, snack, guilty late-night ice cream).

How often do you watch TV?
At least four days a week when the Daily Show and Colbert Report aren't on break, plus Monster Mondays. Also there is anime club and mini-anime club, but most of those aren't currently airing on television. Aside from that, I'm way behind on shows that air regularly.

Do you have a favorite talk show?
The Daily Show and the Colbert Report, hands down, although admittedly I have never watched any others. I do not need any others. Or any actual news shows.

What's the last TV show you watched?
Samurai Champloo, last night. Hurrah for Funimation's tendency to put all their shows on their website and YouTube, in high quality, for free!

What's your favourite/preferred genre of TV?
I seem to like things that are supernaturally- or paranormally-oriented. Or animated.

What's your least favourite genre of TV?
Reality television, for sure, and apparently I don't go in for cop shows. Except Due South and Life on Mars, but those are only sort of cop shows, really they are about other things.

What was the first TV show you were obsessed with?
Hardcore obsessed? Lost. It was also, perhaps not coincidentally, the second non-animated non-Nickelodeon TV show I ever watched on a regular basis. (The first was House, which was entirely my mom's fault.)

What TV show do you wish you never watched?
I have too many good memories tied in with Heroes, despite the slight ache of never making any more of them, so I don't think there's anything I actually regret. Wait. That one cartoon about the dog spies. I am pretty sure that one was, in retrospect, terrible. I loved it when I was eight! But I was eight.

What's the weirdest show you enjoyed?
Umineko no Naku Koro Ni, hands down. One day I will finish it! And I am sure I will still be just as confused.

What TV show scared you the most?
I still occasionally have to remind myself that I do not live near a river, I am not technically a child, and they never appear indoors, so fuck you xxxHolic, those arms will haunt me forever. Oh! And the episode of X-Files with the glowing green bugs. Not a good thing to show to a ten-year-old.

What is the funniest TV show you have ever watched?
Hmmmm. I am tempted to go with the Daily Show and Colbert Report here, if only because most of the shows I watch aren't flat-out comedies. Psych certainly had its moments, though.

Which do you think is the best TV series ever made?
Weeeeellll, technically Monster didn't start as a TV series, so...Dexter? Dexter is one of the few shows I would recommend unreservedly to anyone, so of course I haven't seen any of the fourth season yet. Shut up. I'll get to it.

Will I watch the new SPN tonight? Probably not, I feel a random nap coming on. But tomorrow!

dead like me, heroes, how i met your mother, sarah jane adventures, daily show colbert report, baccano!, monster, xxxholic, law & order, merlin, house, all things joss whedon, fullmetal alchemist, princess tutu, dexter, kuroshitsuji/black butler/whatever, lost, leverage, x-files, supernatural, smallville, csi, psych, i like anime apparently, ouran high school host club, samurai champloo, i like actors, due south, umineko no naku koro ni, doctor who, torchwood, ain't no het in hetalia, i has a meme, profit, junjou romantica what the hell
