I am making a house for my alter ego! My alter ego is a drunken whore.
My deep and unspoilery thoughts on Merlin 2x01: if you think about it too much it is a bit rubbish but I do not think about it too much and therefore I am happy with the Shirtless Bradley James Show. (Angel Coulby can also be shirtless if she wishes, but that's more difficult to get past the censors.)
Have not seen Supernatural 5x02 yet. But I like the title! Actually many episodes in this show have good titles. Although perhaps they should have saved Sympathy for the Devil for an episode where, y'know, the audience has to be sympathetic for the Devil. I am still bitter about It's The Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester not having anything to do with pumpkins.
Also I have now read the first five volumes of Fushigi Yugi, because--well, they were at the library, okay, so they were free and it is one of those series all anime fans has to be passably familiar with or something like that. It is um possibly the cheesiest thing I have ever seen, and, as evidenced by my first paragraph, I watch Merlin so that is saying something. The art sort of distresses me (THE MEN'S EYES ARE DEAD INSIDE) and I tend to like a little more actual build-up to my Epic Love, but there is also surprise gay which is hardly ever a bad thing, really.
Also also, TRUE LIFE TALES: my friends and I were taking a tour of this house so one of us could get reference photos for a project--Savannah got some oooold houses, yo--and it had a lot of portraits of American historical figures, like Robert E. Lee and more Robert E. Lee and POSSESSED GEORGE WASHINGTON STARING INTO YOUR SOUL WITH PITCH-BLACK EYES, at which point one of my friends started whispering "He's coming, he's coming, he's coming...". I do love having friends who are familiar with the internet.
