A brief preface, because I feel like it: my Hetalia tag is actually deceptive! There are a few het pairings in Hetalia, and one female character with a decent amount of appearances. She is Hungary, and she is awesome. Anyway, Hungary almost always gets paired up with either Austria or Prussia (except for the one hysterical kink meme fill where she got paired with England, but that's another story), which is all well and good; she used to canonically be married to Austria (oh history), even if we've never actually seen any events taking place during the time that she was. (The reason they got "divorced", actually, was because they got the crap kicked out of them in WWI...by Italy. Which. Um. Is impressive for a variety of reasons.) As for Prussia, they used to hang out when they were kids. (She thought she was a boy, incidentally. Prussia was a bit horrified to discover that she wasn't.) So both pairings make sense, and both have their good points.
The thing is, though, that Austria and Prussia also get paired up every now and then. Possibly because of the Hungary connection (it's very easy to imagine that Prussia would be jealous), but probably because Prussia's been shown molesting Austria on more than one occasion and Hungary seems A-OK with this. Hetalia: it makes you say very odd things sometimes. In any case, I recently realized why, while I vaguely approve of all three pairings, I was never really inclined to read any of them( or porn for any of them, anyway): Hungary, Prussia, and Austria are in the rare position of belonging to a genuinely equilateral love triangle. No matter which two you pair together, you're always leaving one out, and that's sad. Sniff.
Which is a rather long and rambly way of saying, hey, I totally ship a threesome now, have an utterly non-pornographic picture of them.
Yes, Prussia has red eyes. And Hungary has been known to whack people with a frying pan. And Austria expresses anger by playing Chopin. I love them all, is what I am saying. Someday Prussia and Hungary will get to do things in the anime. Someday! Oh, someday...
