Fifty thousand?
Fifty thousand.
I'm starting to get the impression that arbitrary milestones are only making it worse--man, I wrote that first 10,000 in like a week, why did it take me a month to get f rom 40 to 50--but still, you know, hey, I've made it to NaNoWriMo level and it only took me three times as long to do it, and I am inclined to think that this is a good thing. I've only got a few more plot points to hit--second pregnancy, second birth, probably more kid stuff, end of first year of nursing school, end of second year of nursing school, the week before the end of the third year of nursing school--and the vague 60,000 endpoint I decided upon shortly after I got to 30,000 may be within the realms of possibility. So, yes. Fifty thousand. Peter's going to turn 23 in a few months, and then he's going to start nursing school, and Monty's going to make his way into the world soon. I think I can do that.
