Uh, I forgot to do the Eight Days of Happiness thing yesterday, so--yesterday I was made happy by Doctor Who. Onto Day Eight!
1) Another new episode of FMA yesssss. And it did not have Lior either! It had Backstory! Angsty, angsty, eleven-year-old-with-two-limbs-and-deadened-eyes backstory! Seriously, I know that part of the story backwards and forwards and it still got to me. Oh injury-to-the-arm motif, I did not miss you at all.
2) The vid is now at 1:04 yesssss. I have more or less resigned myself to discarding my Big Bang until another day, but, dude, I got vid and it is going well and I am not feeling meh on the source material any more and happy futuresoon is happy. Perhaps it helps that vid is shameless silliness and does not require me to get nervous over the Vividcon folks tsk-ing over any feeble attempts at depth and analysis? I suspect that it helps. Not that I don't still have an undercurrent of oh-god-what-am-I-doing-everyone-knows-more-than-I-do-and-they-will-see-right-through-me, but that is probably standard, really.
