at least i'm finally happy with the opening instrumental--well, mostly

A VIDDER'S DILEMMA. In a vid otherwise made entirely out of live-action sources, does it mesh to have a 2-second shot of a cartoon? On one hand, it fits the theme perfectly and is in fact what inspired me to make the vid in the first place; on the other hand, it's the only animated thing in there. (Well. I might put another clip of it near the very end. But my point still stands.) Also, in a vid about people becoming evil/powerful, does it work to have clips from AU episodes where people are already evil/powerful? This has bugged me since I started the vid, if only because I really, really want to use AU comparisons for the big-ass instrumental section. (Future Peter has a scar! Evil Sulu has a scar! Future Niki is a stripper! Evilish Lacey is a stripper!) Argh, putting actual thought into creative endeavors is haaaaard.

On the plus side, I'm totally proud that I actually did something today. Adding ten seconds to a vid is the most productive thing I've done all week.
