i know, you know, that i'm not telling the truth; i know, you know, you just don't have any proof

Late, late, yes, I know, it's my thing. *grumbles*
For the uninitiated, a slasher's cackle is the sort of loud, high-pitched screech of laughter one has when one is, for instance, watching Jack and Ianto get caught having sex in the greenhouse by Gwen, or when, in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Perry pulls a Fakeout Makeout with Harry, or, apparently, when Donna decides to become number six on Ten's kiss list. (Six. Rose Reinette Martha Joan Astrid Donna and what do you bet Jack's going to finally make a move for it when he comes back later this season? Seriously, even One's thing with Cameca doesn't match up to this. Anyway, loved the bit, and not just because of the kiss--which was, need I remind you, hysterically awesome; David Tennant rocks everybody's socks off when it comes to physical comedy, and I suspect there are very few people in the world who can beat him at flailing and falling over. (Hugh Laurie, perhaps. And James Roday might be able to give him a run for his money.)

The rest of the episode: okay, who were the actors who played Agatha and Lady Eddington? I want to know the former because she was just so damned awesome (and interesting-looking! I like interesting-looking!) and the latter because she looked incredibly familiar but I just can't think of anything. Augh, I'm running out of things to say about this episode. It was...good? I really liked it, I did! It was funny and kinda sweet and I was very gratified to hear my dad snort when Roger first looked into servant-boy's eyes; I have trained them well, yo. (Or maybe RTD has.)

I Pay Too Much Attention To Music: the bit where Ten flashbacked to hunting for Charlemagne--which was great, by the way--featured, if I recall correctly, The Martha Theme; a nice call-back, given that the bow and arrows were last seen in her presence. (Also, "captured by an evil, living computer"? I had my own flashback to The Face of Evil. Yaaay, I can has Old Who memories!)

And...that's pretty much it; I am apparently not good at the talking thing today. Ah well. Good episode, regardless!
In other news, a conversation with vanitashaze inspired me to create this.

Wee bit illegible, I know, but I had fun.

In other other news, I've acquired a taste for Five/Ainley!Master without having seen any of their episodes; I think it's pretty well-established at this point that I'm a special person.

i like actors, episode ramblings: doctor who, i like music, icons, i like television, doctor who, torchwood, tv tropes will ruin your life, gay gay gay, kiss kiss bang bang, psych, yes i am really very odd
