Sweet holy fuck, the
Heroes Slash Awards are up again and there is no way in hell I am going to be able to read all those. It is times like this that I realize just how freakishly popular Mylar and Matt/Mohinder are--I'd say they easily comprise 70% of the noms. But I shall persevere. (And skip most of them.) I definitely encourage you to go out there and at least read and vote for some of them; there's a lot of great stuff out there, and I find it to be awesome that
selenak's
Dreaming made it to the list of Best Molly Characterization, because that's an awesome, awesome story and she deserves the ego boost. (Can you guess which one I'm voting for in that category? I'm sure it's a total mystery.) I got a few noms myself--Best Overall for El Laberinto del Destino, which surprised the hell out of me, Best Crossover for the House crossover, which did not really surprise me at all, Best Epic for the BDPS, and, er, well, in Best Nathan/Peter (G-PG13), I appear to be going up against myself--twice, with Develop; It's Sort of Like Voyeurism, In That It's Exactly Like Voyeurism; and Five Crimes the Petrelli Brothers Said They Didn't Commit (And One They Really Didn't). Also the BDPS for Best Nathan/Peter (R-NC-17). Er. Wow. Pretty good birthday present, this.
I'm not going to tell you to vote for me, although you certainly can if you want to, because I'm up against some serious competition* (even if some of that competition is myself); so again, I encourage you to go read the other stuff and make the best judgment you can. And that's all for now. Go. Read.
*I'm up against
Lethe's Shore! In two different categories! Oh god, I'm so dead.
