Something about listening to Ashlee Simpson just makes me happy. Yay for Cincinnati driving and listening to it lots.
So Cincinnati was quite satisfying. We arrived safe and sound on Tuesday, after a relaxing breakfast at Bob Evan's. Although it was extremely hot and sweaty, it was super cool (I need to stop saying that) watching professional tennis in person. I saw Henman win in like 45 minutes, and Federer lose his first round (as the #1 seed!), and Roddick's match was the best. He was great to watch and the crowd got all into it. Other than getting kicked out by a stupid usher because we didn't have tickets, it was great. Katie, Kelly, and I ended up moving down and getting much better seats anyway.
On day 2 we were all set to go to King's Island (those of us who didn't already have tickets), but when we walked outside the hotel it was pouring. So instead we drove around, chatted with some guys at the Starbuck's in Meijer, went to see Harold and Kumar go to White Castle (which was pretty funny), and walked around a local mall. But it turned out to be fine because we had lots of laughs and good talks on the ride home (and awesome food at Don Pablos).
It was just a good trip in general, nice to get away from home and be a little independent. Now I just have to somehow return all the stuff that people left in my van.
Otherwise...just chilling. Sleeping in, watching tv, doing lots of nothing.
So much for the CBB gathering tonight cause Dupes is going up north. What are we going to do instead? Damn Michigan and its lack of entertainment.
