I don't say this often enough, or publically enough, but here it goes.
I am proud of my son.
He's clever. He's creative. And I just don't give him enough credit.
He's going to need those skills eventually, when I step down in eleventy-bazillion years, as long as it's tempered with the wisdom of when *not* to use his powers.
But Jake was right. I wasn't exactly the picture of maturity when I first got here, either. He'll get there when he needs to get there. I did. And he's a thousand times the man I was at his age.
He gets that from his mother's side of the family, I'm sure.
