I got the rice. Anyone who has electonics that need drying out, please bring them to the Hephaestus cabin Forge. I'll be doing my best to get all our technological friends back into working order.

Because I needed the rice to save my friends and the door was in my way. Logic dictated that the easiest way was to remove the door as I doubt I'd be given the key. A simple application of leftover powder from the fireworks later and I have all the rice I require.

Actually, my father taught me. He seemed to think I'd find it useful, after our elementary school library got locked during lunch-times, thanks to vandals, despite it being my main spot.

I am positive I could learn a lot about being human from him. Perhaps one day, we will get the chance to meet.

I hope so. It doesn't seem like anytime soon, however. Tachibana-kun encountered a monster close to Tokyo, where my father lives. Both of us would attract too much monster attention. I wouldn't want to disturb he and his girlfriend like that, for selfish reasons.

[ooc: Renji is sort of disgusted by gods and their changing moods, but he thinks Hephaestus is one of the least likely to smite him, so he wouldn't mind a meeting at all.]

That must be very worrisome for you. I understand the desire to keep your sire safe. I do not think it selfish at all.

There are many downsides to being a demigod, for all of the advantages. Sometimes I wish I could ask my father to live here, at the town, but he would miss the city and his birthplace. I miss him, but at least I have gained good friends instead.
