Yeah, so on Friday, me, Dad, and EZ-E went down to somerville early, ate at Mikes, and got in line at the somerville theater. then bry, nemo, the ledouxs, and mattkonn showed up, and we went in, and promptly arranged ourselves at waht i like to call 'the spot-that-is-just-to-the-left-of-where-we-were-at-the-slip'. yeah. whit and sarah showed up like 10 minutes later. then they fed us some bullshit about no smoking because the smoke alarms are super-sensitive, blah blah, blah, bullshit. anyway, for the first set, i was touching the stage, and about 3 people left of center. about 8:30, keller starts playing his guit-fiddle backstage (using a wireless system), and moseyed on out playin "Inhale to the Chief". So, i did. Then he went into "Don't stop 'till you get enough", and he was up front of the stage. i could have reached out and grabbed his ankle, but that would have been douchey. anyway, that's pretty much all I remember for chronology of his set, but i do know he played that buffalo springfield song that goes 'stop, hey, what's that sound, everybody look what's goin down', he played bob rules, and he had the most frenetc loop going through it, and he played you are what you eat, and closed with 'moving sidewalk'. all in all, a great, great, great, great show. Although, all through it, some asshole in a SARS mask kept bumping me when i was either packing a bowl or lighting one. that was kinda lame, and it kinda pissed me off at the moment, but it was all in good fun.
after the show, i swear Dad was drunk driving back. we never were in a single lane for more than 3 seconds....but we made it home. and by that i mean, to Denny's. good time, good time.
