My big project to rip my entire j-punk collection is now complete. Hooray. 32 CD's and 59 7"s. Lots of great stuff. Glad to finally get that taken care of because between Crackle, No Idea, Vine Hell and Interpunk, I just tracked down another 34 records I don't have. Luckily most of them are on CD, so ripping is much easier. Looks like this will be an ongoing project. YAY new music!
Speaking of music, saw this on Chris' journal and thought I'd take a gander:
Go to Wikipedia and find your year of birth in music and pick the albums you would actually listen to that came out that year:
1978:
Heaven Tonight - Cheap Trick
Give 'Em Enough Rope - The Clash
This Year's Model - Elvis Costello and the Attractions
All Mod Cons - The Jam
More Songs About Buildings and Food - Talking Heads
Adventure - Television
Who Are You - The Who
Chairs Missing - Wire
Germ Free Adolescents - X-Ray Spex
The Man Machine - Kraftwerk
