wedding colours
Ridiculously bright blue. Like the brightest blue known to man and visible to the human eye. Unfortunately this excludes ultraviolet ;) Though I am sure that the blue morpho butterfly and the turquoise-browed mot mot that come to mine when I think of these colours have plenty of UV on their bluest of blue parts.
Complemented by other shades of blue, as necessary/based on price and what I find. Now I wonder... how can I find bridesmaid dresses in this "ridiculously bright blue"?
I realized recently that I had known my wedding colours all along. They are the colours of things I have collected over the years for no particular reason and should have thrown out but just could not bring myself to... a huge royal blue strip of corduroy. A collection of tissue paper in brilliant blues of varying shades. A ball of yarn in a turquoise so bright I could not leave it in the sale bin and had to bring it home (even though I do not knit).
