Why I'm Here (Subtitle: honest, I'm not a troll)
Since it seems sort of ridiculous to have an account at LJ and not actually use the journal aspect of it, here's a token post. I'm here because I read, not because I write fan fiction. I landed here because awhile back I was editing an academic paper on fandom and social media, and the author's ability to put together accurate footnotes, bibliography, etc. was severely lacking. I ended up delving into the world of fandom to make sense of all the references, and it turned out to be my gateway drug.
