I opened Safari and as soon as sorozatjunkie loaded and I read the news I rushed here to complain about this being slightly more pathetic than the series 4 finale. But then I read the original Sun article and decided this must be a joke because it's so bloody ridiculous I'm almost certain even RTD wouldn't dare to do that.

Dude, it's RTD. He will bring back *everyone* just for the lulz. There are also rumours about Jenny's return and the actress who played nurse Redfern has been seen filming. The finale will be either phenomenal or a clusterfuck.

Journey's End sucked, there's absolutely no need for second one, especially that at least it was ultimately good riddance to Rose. If RTD does it all over again, it's not only gonna suck but will render the whole Journey's End crap completely vain. If he wants hilarious reunions with lollipops and dancing and a ridiculous Swiss-cheesy plot which takes itself far too serious, he should simply write an internet fic as the rest of the fangirls.

Perhaps RTD is trying to fix the mistake he made with JE and give Rose's story a better end than being stuck with Handy in the alt!universe. (I think he should retcon everything that happened in JE and try again.)

He would be a popular badfic writer. :D

As far as I know this time he isn't aiming for a soapy reunion, rather a heart wrenching ending and he needs the loved characters there to create angst and scare the viewers into watching. (Cheap trick.)

Good grief. I vote for a heavy piano to be thrown on the miserable head of each character, then, and a nuclear explosion perhaps, so that there'd be virtually no chance for them to come back again, not even as a zombie. Is that dramatic enough? I'll be scared away from the screen if once again every RTD-created character appears in the same scene.
