Allow me to introduce myself and welcome you to this town-- my name is Baron Byron Balaz-- it is a pleasure to be the first to welcome you here, if informally.
Well, it is a Saturday night. But I guess this isn't much of a party town.
Thank you, Baron Byron Balaz! It's a pleasure to meet you, if only electronically. Hopefully a face-to-face meeting will follow soon. Are you an actual Baron, your Lordship, or is Baron your given name?
The last party was some time ago, although I've been contemplating hosting one myself despite the fact that I'm about twenty years out of practice.
If you wish to meet in person, by all means--my time is nearly completely free these days, though if it's not too much of an imposition I am more of a night person. And to assuage your curiosity, yes, I am an actual Baron despite the fact that right now you could not find my land on any current map.
Twenty years? That's just wrong for so many reasons.
I'm more of a night person myself - I point you to the lateness of this entry as evidence. So that's no imposition at all. You'll have to tell me all about your land which can't be found on a map. There's a lake here in town, isn't there, in a park? At least that's where I think I see this conversation happening. Definitely get the feeling it should not take place in public. How about there? You name the day and time.
Ah, hello! Cloudy days are my favorites, too! Though I can't say that I've had much experience with parties, and shopping seems to dislike me greatly...
O-Oh, right! You asked who I am! Well, it's sort of a long story, but everybody just calls me Dok ♥ Alice is a pretty name, though! May I call you Alice, or should I just stick to Ms. Cullen? Haha, I'm still so bad at this whole, being social thing...so please forgive anything that gets lost in translation.
As far as shopping, it's just...such a hassle, you know? I always end up either getting too much or forgetting what I went for in the first place -- or I get entirely lost, or can't find anything that fits and end up changing clothes a zillion times. And all that walking..! I'm as much an advocate for exercise as anyone, but walking three miles only to come away with nothing but a craving for pretzels is just more exhausting than it's worth, most of the time.
Of course, that isn't to say that I outright hate it, I guess it's just something that I have to psych myself up to do? As it stands, though, I just get Wes to do most of my shopping for me, if I can help it ♥
