took a break from guitar to write a song (kind of)

what I write tends to accurately reflect whatever I've been listening to the most lately, and right now that's AC Newman and Pretty Girls Make Graves, even though the voice in my head sounds an awful lot like the guy from Taking Back Sunday. On a side note, I've discovered someone who sounds exactly like I would if I had a shitload of vocal practice (but the voice itself is right on) -- that cat from The Stills. I mean people tell ME that I sound like him. Listen to Lola Stars and Stripes sometime, anyone who's familiar with my voice, and try to tell me otherwise.

he'll retire in the spring but for now there's just one thing
