[KAITO glanced up when Kaito stopped.]

What's wrong?

I - thought it reacted to something. The radio...

Really? Where?

**Mekaito peeks out - he was hiding under Kaito's coat again.**

**he turned his head. There was a row of houses they were passing when it acted up, but he'd actually stopped a few steps later. Glancing at KAITO, he carefully backtracked - to find it making the sounds again**

[He's looking around as well, but for anyone who could see them. When Kaito could pinpoint the area the radio was reacting to, he cautiously walked back to the human's side.]

Here?

Well, it's definitely on this street...

**his fingers tightened slightly around the radio. This wasn't supposed to happen - they were supposed to slip out and not be seen. The radio making noise set his heart racing. On the one hand, there could be a discovery that he'd never noticed before. On the other, the closer they got to the source, the more likely the chance of them being heard or seen.**

**Kaito looked down at the little robot whom he was carrying in the opposite arm of the radio. He had been hidden away in this city. Could someone else have done the same?**

[He followed his gaze. When he looked back at Kaito his expression was full of understanding.]

I'll make sure no-one is near.

You might have to pretend to be me again...

**he cautioned, letting Mekaito down. Just in case an escape would be needed, it would be better to keep him able to move freely. With the coat over his head, he could still pass for a .... weird little kid with a coat on his head.**

[KAITO tries not to let that discourage him. He's taking off his coat, too, just in case he's seen. The scarf should be fine, but the coat stood out a little.]

**he took off down the street with Mekaito at his heels, their feet making scuffling noises on the pavement. He hoped that the radio was quiet enough that it wouldn't wake anybody... and also, he was anxious about what would happen when he did pinpoint a house. What would be found in there? And could he even access it without causing a scene? He wasn't exactly a master burglar.**

[KAITO watches the two down the street. Taking a deep 'breath', he readied himself for anything that could happen.
