Finally finished the ukulele i've been dicking around with on off and on for a little over a year. Turned out pretty nice, I must admit. Always had the inkling to make some cool looking ukes, so when it was time to come up with an idea for a friend's birthday, who started a coffee bidness based around a tiki / hawaiian mythology, it seemed the perfect initiation into uke design. And the best part is now that the art is done and in an easy to use computer file, making more will be relatively easy. I think I've found a pretty decent uke supplier, so I can probably sell em for 40 bucks and still make a profit. I'm taking pre-orders for them if anyone's interested. They look great on the wall and sound great in hand.
Special thanks to bitchin' bud
jacklattie for help on the computer-end of things. It really is excellent of him to devote time and energy to my silly projects.
