My last exam was today, so as of noon, I was done with school for the summer. Go me, go! Of course, I don't know how I did on my exams yet. I keep thinking I messed them up. Piper and Mom keep telling me they're sure I did fine. It's nice that others have more confidence in my abilities than I do.
I'm a little nervous, because the tests I took today are to skip my sophmore year, so I can enter school next year as a Jr. Yeah, I just decided I was sick of being the world's oldest freshman, so when my teachers suggested I take the "skip tests" I agreed. Which explains why I've been studying like crazy lately and not doing much posting.
But, now that I'm free, I have a
few people I need to make this up to. Gokou, I'll be at morning training and if you want, we can train one on one later. I've missed our "power up" training sessions. And Piper? Tomorrow afternoon is yours. Do you want to go somewhere? Anywhere you want, we'll go there. Maybe you'd like to go and spend the day by the ocean?
Today though, when I got out of school, I took my bike for a long ride. I'm glad it's bike season again, I've missed it. Of course, we've been having a lot of rain lately, which has kinda make riding hard, but today was perfect. Not too hot, not too cold. So, I took a really long ride outside of the city and just... enjoyed knowing I didn't have to rush home to study.
I'm still taking violin lessons and everyone is telling me the noises I'm making sound more like music. My teacher seems to be pretty pleased too. At least he doesn't grimace when I have them. He asked me the other day if I was going to give them up for the summer like some kids do. I told him no way. I mean, if we go on vacation I might, but other than that, nope. I don't see any reason why I shouldn't continue.
Yeah, I'm really looking forward to having some time off. But right now, I think I should go into the kitchen and see if Mom needs any help with dinner.
