Updating from study hall, this is becoming a habbit!

I think a lot of my fellow students are taking a secret course in Aerodynamics, because as soon as the teacher left the room, they started tossing paper airplanes around. And we all know that in study hall, whether the teacher is there or not, we MATURE students study, study, study.

I'm sure between all of us we can find a way to get that flag. I'm seeing a lot of foil-wrapped candies in store windows lately; what if we packed one into a snowball? No, no, must find legitimate way of winning...

Learning an instrument is a pain sometimes, but it's worth it. It really is. I just hope eventually I can learn to do the quara justice and not sound like a three year old playing it. The fingerings are pretty intuitive, it's just getting it to sound right that's the hard part.

Is exploiting the weakness of your "enemy" unfair?

I think you're doing better with your quara then I'm doing with the violin sometimes. You know, when you miss a note on a voilin, it just sounds godawful. I'm surprised I haven't been evacuated yet.

I suppose not...

Well, I've got an advantage 'cause I've played another woodwind instrument before. You seem to be catching on to what you're doing with the violin pretty quickly, actually.

Then when I pick up the candy sticks for the popcorn balls today, I'll pick up some Hersey's Kisses!

You really think I'm catching on? *blush* I still worry that I'm causing people hives when I play. My teacher seems pleased with my progress, but he does like to tell me I should have started playing when I was much younger.

Yeah, you've gotten tons better since you started. Keep it up, you're doing great!

Today I have to pick up Hershey's Nuggets and Dove promises. They have really nice foil wrappers

Well, gosh, thanks. I think you're getting the hang of that... oh crap, I forget how to spell it, but you know what I mean!

*giggles* Yeah, I do. Thank you.

You know, we'll have to have a jam session at some point and see how our slippers react. Call me crazy, but I'm curious.

Ooh, that sounds like it could be fun! I'd like to see how the critical slippers are acting now.

Yes. Though I have to wonder how both of us playing at once will go over with them. *g*

Let's hope they don't run away from home together, to start a new life!

*giggles* I have a scary mental picture now of four blobs bouncing back through the door one day with like twelve itty bitty baby blobs following them. *g*

I could imagine the rejoicing. Especially when we give a pair to the two members of the CrankyPants club. *wink*

Aww, we couldn't do that to the poor baby slippers! They'd grow up traumatized!

That's true. I like my slippers too much to do that to them, and I'd feel the same way about their offspring!
