Well, at least we managed to get rid of Froster. Of course, we also blew up our return trip home, his ship, but that's Saiyajins for you , right?
We had to do what we had to do though, so you really can't blame us. The important thing is that the earth is saved from dying a slow death, thanks again to the wonder bunch... US!
So, we've flown past the mountains now and have actually found, wonders of wonders, a city. The buildings are a little odd. Rounded. It's hard to explain, but a lot of them remind me in a way of trees. Not that they're made of wood, but like they're enormous trees that have been hollowed out to make buildings.
The natives of the planet seem to be friendly and interested in making money, because all along the streets there are shopkeepers, who, according to those who speak common, are encouraging us to buy things.
I think Gokou would buy every scrap of food, but we have a small problem..
No money. We've been wondering if we've got anything on us worth trying to sell, but we're not sure. What do these folks consider valuable? We haven't found anything that looks like a pawn shop either.
But, Vez has been talking to a few people and they do seem to understand and even build space ships. It looks like we'll be going there soon. Again, we have no money, but you never know. At least we should be able to find out how much a ship will cost and what are our chances that we have anything that these folks might take in exchange for it.
Poor Gokou, he's drooling. And I want to join in with him. Even though we just had another festival of doom and gloom, now that we're among people, in a city, even if it isn't home, I'm feeling better about things. We're going to find a way to make it off of here. We're even going to be able to get something to eat.
And if we're really lucky, we'll be able to take a shower soon, too.
Maybe, if we can't get a ship, they have something like Galactic Traveler's Aid around here?
